can't get too much of a good thing!

So, by total random luck, I shot two weddings in a row at the fabulous Lighthouse Room at the Seaport Hotel. Amy and Adam had a beautiful day in the city for their wedding.

They chose to see each other before the wedding to relax and do all of their pictures. I love this picture as they are about to see each other for the first time!

The entire wedding party was so much fun...

I'm not entirely sure if Amy or Adam ever stopped laughing or smiling the entire day, and that is definitely not a bad thing!

The ceremony was in the Wintergarden room.

These two were total hams for the camera...

Amy and her dad!

*this just in - Amy & Adam's pictures are now on-line in therecent weddings section of my main site. Order by October 1st and save 20%.

a very well-timed thunderstorm!

I've learned to ignore the weather reports, because all it is going to do is stress you out. The weather changes on a dime, and you can't do anything about it anyway except be prepared and have a great attitude!
Allison and Scott got married on July 28th, and it was a hot steamy day. It started pouring about 1 minute after they got into the limo to go from the church to the reception site, and stopped shortly after we arrived so that we could do some pictures of them outside.
I love this picture of Allison!

Here is a shot of her fabulous flip-flops that didn't make it to the reception......so sad.

Her dad watching her get some shots done outside...

Ali is a kindergarten teacher, and some of her students came to the church to congratulate her. Have you ever seen anything cuter in your life?

The reception was at the Lighthouse Room at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, which is coincidentally where I am shooting again this Saturday! It's a brand new space, this was only the fifth wedding there. It is such a great place to shoot - very modern, open, lots of green from the outside, but still has that city/water/Boston feel. Nikki Wescott is the head of catering there, and she definitely takes care of every last detail.

The band was the fabulous Felix Brown Band who I've seen a few times. They are definitely not your average wedding band, and they are so much fun!!!
